I’m blown away. Recently, I gave a good friend of mine a gift – a photo I’d taken on Wheeler Lake. Golden dawn, mists rising up from the waters on a cold day. I called it “skirts of angels’ because that’s what the mist looked like to me as I watched them rise up and up, swirling like dancers. Weeks later when I visited her she had hung the photograph on her wall sideways. She explained – “It’s your column of light.” Oh! Fascinating – looking at the similar in a new way opens ones inner eye. That’s what I’m seeing here – looking at the familiar in a different way and seeing something completely different. Good food for thought. My, this is wordy.
I woke up with this song in my head and hadn’t heard it in years… so naturally I got goosebumps when I saw this! 😉 Stunning photos~
Remarkable…I think we bloggers begin to form our own subset of the collective unconscious…
Well I just got goosebumps again… so that could only mean… confirmation! 😉
Oh how I love these photos!! What a great idea to look at the same thing in a different way…so poetic!! 🙂
Thank you, Lorrie!
